International Year of the Reef.

Did you know that you can visit live corals in Forest Hill? The Horniman Museum is not only one of the most fascinating places you can visit in London – and not just because of that walrus – but it also houses an aquarium where magical and extraordinary things are happening. The scientists working on the ground-breaking Project Coral have managed to successfully breed coral in captivity and are working towards the challenge of saving coral reefs in the face of climate change.

Budding marine biologists (and/or pirates) will probably know that 2018 is International Year of the Reef and to celebrate the amazing work the scientists are doing there, the Horniman Museum blog has been interviewing these Reef (Super)Heroes. Check it out here:
